Important instructions regarding the rituals of Narayanbali, Nagbali and tripindi Shraddha for Pithru Dosh.
A) These rituals are performed for the purpose of giving impetus to our ancestors. For this, the scripture says, 'Everyone should spend 1/10 (one tenth) of their annual income.' It works even if you spend according to your strength.
B) These are the rituals. They can be done by anyone. Even those whose parents are alive can do it.
C) Even those who are unmarried can perform these rituals alone. If married, the couple should perform this ritual while sitting.
*Prohibition*(Who cannot participate in Pooja)
1) It is very important for women to observe menstrual period.
2) If a woman is pregnant, it should not be done after 5 months.
3) Good luck in the house means marriage, reunion, etc. If something happened or someone died in the house, this ritual should not be performed for one year.
Procedure
New garments (not black or green) are required for men, such as dhoti, uparne, bunion and for women, sari, jumper (polka) and skirt. The ritual is to be performed by wearing these new clothes. Then those clothes have to be donated. On the third day, they worship and donate an image of a golden cobra (quarter gram).

All three of the above rituals are different. The Narayan-Nagbali ritual lasts for three days, while the Tripindi Shraddha ritual lasts for one day. All the above three rituals can be done in three days. Even if you want to do a separate one day ritual.

The right time to perform the rituals
Narayanbali is suitable for performing the ritual of pure Ekadashi and Dvadashi of any month. Shraddha should be performed on Ekadashi by doing Adhivas (Devatasthapana). Nowadays, most people perform the ritual on the same day. If this ritual is to be performed for procreation, it is more beneficial to perform it on one of the dates of Shravan Nakshatra, Panchami or Putrada Ekadashi.
